Silver St.  This is the City’s highest undeniability volume station.  Station 41 was originally synthetic in 1952 as a laundromat, and was uninventive by the City in 1985 to serve as a fire station.  At the time, Lebanon relied on volunteer firefighters to protect the City.  Over 30 years later, the facility presents many challenges for a modern fire and emergency response operations. Station 41 Presents Health & Safety Concerns As the study notes, “Station 41 presents firsthand health, safety, and operation inadequacies that relate to housing firefighters on a daily basis.”  Due to the multitude of issues, the study concludes that spending on the current station would be a poor investment.  The proposed 9 mill levy will indulge the City to move forward with the planning and construction of a new fire facility to largest serve the community.
